We are always looking for new activities so that we can offer children the challenges they need to grow and give parents peace of mind when they entrust their child to De Tivoli. Discovering the world

This includes large, as well as very small things, which make our childcare extra special for you and your child. English for toddlers, for example, taught by a native speaker. Our special exercise program. Our own large Tivoli vegetable patch, where children can play and garden. We also often go out with the children to discover the world together, for example, to the best playground in Zeeland, the industrial museum, the ice cream farm to learn about how ice cream is made, but also to the local market in Hulst to buy delicious fruit and vegetables for our healthy lunch. The most important thing in doing all these activities is that children learn in an enjoyable way and that we have fun together to build a strong relationship. Babies and toddlers feel right at home at De Tivoli. We offer loving care and inspiration to young children. The baby specialists accompany the children and they appreciate the uniqueness of each child. The transition to toddler and pre-school child is supported by a dedicated and specially trained professional. For the very young children there are a maximum of 3 children under the guidance of 1 professional.

Preschool 2-4 years

Your child will quickly make new friends and we will prepare him or her step by step ready for school. Your child will become more independent and will get confidence in what he or she can do. Due to our strong collaboration with our connected schools, we can prepare children for the next step to school (from 4 years onwards) so they can take that step full confidence. Our groups in preschool consist of no more than 16 children under the guidance of 2 teachers.

Child professionals

At De Tivoli we are available for you and your child throughout the day. We are there for you at every cornerstone of their development. We help your child discover what he or she has in store. And that’s a lot! Your child is embraced by our enthusiastic team. “Hi, how was your weekend ?, your favourite train is ready, do you want to play with it? How do you feel about trying a more challenging puzzle, I am confident you can do it”. That personal attention is crucial for the brain development of babies and toddlers. We work with professionals who specialize in babies, pre-school and school children. Your child therefore quickly feels at home with us and makes new friends. Every week, Monday to Friday from 7 am to 7 pm and earlier or later on request.

 

Cooperation with school

We also believe that we can offer children more opportunities in conjunction with the schools De Wereldboom and Nobelhorst that we are connect-ed to. That is why we are the first collaborative partner of their choice. In our preschool we work closely with the next age groups in the school so that our youngest children benefit from more challenges and opportunities to develop.


 

Vision

We have faith in the strength of the child, respect and a passion for working with children. We offer children a second home and plenty of opportunities to develop. We do this by lovingly guiding them from our hearts and from our profession. Every age demands something else, that’s why we employ professionals who are specially trained for every age and have extensive experience. Each child also has his or her own mentor.
